How Approve with CrewPass works

A candidate presses Approve with CrewPass wherever they sign up with you: your website, registration page or application form.

They sign in to CrewPass, or create a free profile in the same window.

They see what you've asked for, approve it, and carry on with your sign-up. No scanning, no attachments.

Their verified record arrives with you, and stays current as they renew.

What you receive
What arrives with each candidate
You choose what to ask for. We set the list up with you, each item required or optional, and candidates approve it before anything is sent.
Certificates
Every certificate verified and checked, with the issuer, issue date and expiry date.
Certificate copies
A copy of each certificate as a file, to download and keep.
CrewPass status
CrewPass Approved, or Not checked. Approved means the candidate has passed an identity check and a criminal background check with CrewPass.
Contact details
Name, email address and phone number.
Employment history
Each role, marked as confirmed by the employer or entered by the candidate.
Date of birth and nationality
As entered by the candidate.
Candidates can see who they've shared with and stop updates at any time. Anything already sent stays with you.
Keeping current
Always live, always current
When a candidate renews a certificate and CrewPass has verified it, the new version replaces the old one in your records, with a fresh copy to download. When their background check completes and they become CrewPass Approved, their status updates with you too.
