Plenty of software can move crew data between systems. The difference here is what's in the data: independent verification to a depth manual checking can't match, and nothing about your setup has to change to benefit from it.
When CrewPass verifies a document, it confirms the issuing authority behind it, not just the document itself: for example, that the training provider behind an STCW certificate is a recognised school issuing genuine qualifications. It catches what manual checking cannot reasonably catch.
For crew who have been through a CrewPass background check, live check status flows alongside their verified identity and certificates. Nothing obliges an operator to order checks; where you use them, the status is part of the record.
You get the certificate files themselves, not just a valid-or-expired flag, with compliance split out per crew member: role requirements, STCW, and medical (ENG1) status.
Your yacht management software (PMS) keeps running the vessel: operations, maintenance, everything. CrewPass Connect sits alongside it and keeps the crew record verified and current inside it. Two different jobs, working together; it never replaces your PMS.
