Overview
What CrewPass Connect is
CrewPass Connect gets verified crew records to the people who need them, and keeps them current. CrewPass independently verifies each crew member's record, and Connect carries it to you and updates it as things change. There are two ways it reaches you:
- Connected to your software. For management companies and fleet owners, we link CrewPass to the system you already run, using the CrewPass API. Each crew member's record arrives there and stays up to date, with nothing to re-type.
- Through Approve with CrewPass. For recruitment agencies, candidates share their record when they apply, from the button on your website or a CrewPass link you send them. It arrives with their application, and if you'd like it in your own software too, we can connect that as well.
Either way, your team works from verified, current information.
What arrives with each record
Who they are.
A verified crew profile with roles, nationality, experience and employment history.
Their certificates.
A copy of each certificate, verified by CrewPass, with the type, issuer and dates your software needs to file it correctly.
Their compliance status.
Each requirement for their role, from medical and STCW to role certificates, marked as met, expiring, expired, missing or pending, with the document that meets it.
Their background-check result.
For crew who have had a CrewPass background check, the result sits in the same record.

We get you connected.
We look at the software you run and help you get CrewPass Connect up and running with it. The connection runs on the CrewPass API, and your developers will find everything they need in the technical documentation.

Crew agree to share.
When crew join one of your vessels, they agree to share their verified CrewPass record with you.

Your records stay right.
From then on, updates reach your system automatically: a renewed or newly uploaded certificate, a change in compliance status, or new crew joining a vessel. Your team can check the latest version of any record at any time.
